I am currently building a MW/LW Soviet infantry army. I'm most likely going to be building it for use as both Strelkovy and Motostrelkovy, depending on how I feel at the time.

My question is this - I have two blisters of ZIS-3 guns and I'm wondering what is the best way to use them? Should I make an artillery battalion, or a tank destruction company? I can also build them as ZIS-2 guns for a tank destruction company. Their low firepower while bombarding bothers me a bit, and I don't currently have any 122mm howitzers to use with them. However I think they could certainly be useful firing over open sites, and useful bombarding to pin infantry, especially in LW with trained troops (or MW with guards).

Does anyone use artillery batteries solely made up of ZIS-3s, or is there a better way to employ these guns?

Thanks,

-Hordini
