Skabrand is a great synergy for Deamonites, with 3-4 attacks each and super high Init they will benifit from hatred more than the enemy in almost every instance.

Plan is Grinders and Skar drop and soften up a flank. Daemonites come in second and roll the enemy up from one end.

Daemonettes. This isn't WildCATs.

Why no Seekers?

I was told that In 5th it will be all about the troops. If this where a 4th army I would be taking 3 squads of 8 seekers and 2 squads of 15 daemonites.

seekers, for an extra 3 points each, gain an attack AND a 12'' assault. you can take out one squad of demonettes, and add 12 seekers (2 units of 6). in 5th, its about troops as SCORING units, and protecting them. seekers can get in quick and ensure those demonettes get where you need them to be without getting mauled by ranged weapons with their t3 5+sv

not to mention 30 attacks on the charge with rending.. from 6 models is well worth 102 points. and since you have skarbrand, that just makes them even better. even though hes a bloodthirster leading slaaneshi demons. something that should and would never happen. but GW doesnt care much for fluff and sacred numbers any more.

Hmm, I only own 5 old school seekers right now, but that can change...

Actually I think squads of 6 seekers will get shot up during their 'tard turn' of inaction when they DS in. Bigger squads might make more sense.

Not really. One squad of 12 or two squads of 6--what's the difference? What matters more is the number of models total.
