Deamon Princes (according the Chaos Marines FAQ) can all ready fire two weapons. Would anyone in their right mind make a 300 point Prince just to get three shooting attacks per turn?

Well, you can take a Tzeentch-marked DP with three shooting attacks and Master of Sorcery for 200 points, so you can make a gun platform for much cheaper than you've suggested. But I would agree that it's not the most effective combo, as the shooting powers available don't compliment each other particularly well for hitting any one type of unit.

Well, it's certainly a sub-optimal choice. You can probably get more bang for your buck with a Lord of Change since he can get We Are Legion.

He is suggesting that in 5th, it may not be possible for MC's to fire two weapons.

Or maybe, just maybe, there is a difference between shooting two weapons and casting two "shooting" psychic powers. Bear in mind that while a Tyranid Hive Tyrant can shoot two weapons, it can only cast one psychic power (Warp Blast). So shooting two weapons may not necessarily equate to casting to powers that are "shooting" powers. If so, then the power would make sense..................

The powers listed in the Deamon Codex are never listed as psychic poweres, only "abilities"
