Subject: Where to buy IG special weapons?

Hows it going everybody?
I'm new to 40K and I'm planning on starting an IG army. So far my army list seems to consist of about 16 plasmaguns and only 6 melta's. I'm going to have to either buy the pack of 2 Cadian special weapons from gamesworkshop for £7, which has a melta and a plasma, or I can buy the Elysian weapons pack from forge world for £12, which has 2 meltas and 2 plasmas (along with other weapons which i dont have any use for). Which ever way i go I am going to end up with 10 spare meltas. This is going to be a waste of £30-£35, depending on who i buy from. This money could be spent on much better things!
Is there any other way I can go about buying my special weapons, without wasting so much money?? Or should I just stop being a stinge and fork out the money?
Thanks

If you go to the War Store, and check the Space Marine Tactical Bitz section, they sell individual Plasma and Melta guns. In plastic, no less.

Thanks MinMax.
One extra question,
The war store accepts international money orders in USD. This will be the only route I can take, as I dont have access to a Visa card. Where in the UK can one get international money orders?

Usually you can get them from banks or post offices, I've not tried in the UK but everywhere else I've been that worked.
I should also mention one of my favorite tricks, the flamer+plasma pistol=plasma gun

Nice, KK.
While I lack pictures, I've converted (metal) IG troopers w/lasguns to plasma rifles easily enough. Start with plastic plasma pistols, clip much as KK did above (business end + charging coils(?)), clip the lasgun barrel off, and trim what's left until you get a tetris-block-like fit. Should be downright simple in plastic.

In reference to ordering from the WarStore, I think if you use PayPal the whole conversion rate business is taken care of. At anyrate, I have never had issues buying things off eBay that were listed in some blasphemous currency.
