Here is my first attempt at a 2000 points daemons army:
Lord:
Kairos 625

Heroes:
2 X tzeentch herald with master of sorcery (Haven) = 280

Core:

15 blood letters w/music + standard =198
15 daem. w/music + standard = 198


Another 15 of either Daem. or Bloodletters = 198 AND 5 furies =50(248) OR 10 daem + 10 Bloodletters = 240<--- any suggestions?

Rare:
6 flamers w/pyro = 225
6 flamers w/pyro = 225

total ~1999 or little lower depending on troop choice from above...

The points increased to 2250... any suggestions for what to take with extra 250?

ok changed army a little bit... suggestions appreciated:

Lord:
Kairos 625

15 daem. OR bloodletters w/music= 185

3 seekers (90) or 10 furies(100)


Rare:
6 flamers = 210
6 flamers = 210

any suggestions for 10 furies or 3 seekers and 15 more daem. or bloodletters? The 10 furies i can get 2 groups of 5 huntin', the 3 seekers can hunt as well and autohit with str 5 aint bad.

Your biggest problem is if your heralds hit something more than they can easily chew up - hard cav or inf, etc - I'm thinking Grail Knights, Chosen, Blood Knights, etc - it will mean that you will have enemy units hitting the flanks of your core inf, and get crushed. It might be better to have maybe 4 or 5 blocks of inf if you are going to be tied down to infantry, rather than have 3 with characters holding up the flanks. Just a thought.

I could take out the screamers (names seekers by accident) or the furies and field a 10 men squad, other than that i dont know where to cut....

19 plaguebearers w/herald as 20th. standard,musician, seeping decay icon 271

5 furies

OR
20 daemonettes, 15 bloodletters and 15 daemonettes/bloodletters and 10 furies and 3 screamers - no herald nurgle and no special banners.

Rare:
6 flamers w/pyro = 225
6 flamers w/pyro = 225

~2250

OR A BIT DIFFERENT-FASTER AND SMALLER UNITS:

Lord:
Kairos 625

Heroes:
2 X tzeentch herald with master of sorcery and wings = 320

Core:

10 blood letters w/music + standard =138
10 daem. w/music + standard = 138
10 daem w/ standard = 133

5 furies
5 furies
3 screamers
3 screamers
5 flesh hounds

Rare:
6 flamers = 210
6 flamers = 210

The first looks the same except I added herald with nurgle with slime (anti flanking since i got 3 troop choices) and noxious vapours(anti attack last). He is stuck with the 19 plaguebearers with icon of seeping decay - chose it over eternal since poison is harder to get and wounding always helpful especially with 1 attack.) This nurgle unit will be very tough to kill especially the Herald and 2 other plaguebearers will always go first in the front. Is the Herald of nurgle a right way of using the points or I should use its points for another troop choice or get more furies/screamers?

The 2nd set is for smaller units mostly speedy - pelt them with shooting, magic and suprise flank attacks -your thoughts?
