Treebeard - the typical treeman ancient with annoyance for challenges and cluster for the additional dispel
Yanna - level 2 used for treesinging mostly
Moonshadow - scroll caddy
Myren - Noble BSB to back up the treemen.
Glade Guard - decent shooting base
Dryads - hard hitting fear causers
Glade Riders - fast calvary for baiting have 6 just in case for shooting and maximum frontage
Wardancers - hard hitters have 1 additional instead of the usual 7 to deal with shooting
Warhawk riders - fast flying calvary is great. Only 3 because they are expensive and couldn't find points for more
Glade Riders - 6 for max frontage with banner for better combat res.
Treeman - second treeman to march up with Treebeard backed by the BSB
Whole army is meant to be tough and mobile with a good amount of shooting and magic for tree singing mostly
Being able to hide and strike and fade is really fun.
Potential issues
If there are no woods like for scenarios in tournaments, that hurts this army alotl.
Demons - all the flaming attacks are no good for treemen. Blood thirsters are really bad news. not sure how to deal with this or the tzench heavy magic. I guess I can not take treemen but wood elf dragons are no where as good as high elf ones and without seige weapons it can be difficult to deal with greater demons. Got massacred in the one game I played against demons so far.
vampire counts - always seem to have problems with them whatever army I play. I guess the good thing is a fair amount of fear causers so don't have to always keep making fear checks. Blood Knights are pretty difficult to deal with although baiting with fast calvary works but is risky. Eagle would help here but two Treemen is really hard against most things. 5 dispel dice also isn't all that great against vampire counts. Blood Knights and friends ate my army when I played vampire counts last.
