Is/are there any online resources that'll giove me the details of what specific units are capable of? Don't want to get anyone here in IP violation troubles or anything, just want to compare various jacks and casters, look for combos, etc... would have bought the books, but my LGSs are horrible at being in stock with things.

Anyway, the problem with PP forums depends on who's
replying to your post. If you ask about basic units, there
are a few people who bemoan how posters today have not
learned to search for things before they ask questions.

Helpful respondents will give you links to stuff AND offer
specific advice.

Also, sometimes you're walking a minefield when certain
revolving topics come up inadvertently. Try posting
about the power of infantry sometime.

PP doesn't allow for actual stats to be posted on people's
websites, so you won't see that. To see the rules for models
you'll have to either read the previewed materials in their
No Quarter magazine or look at the specific book titles
where they list every model that gets released for every
faction in that expansion.

If nothing else bud, at least BattleCollege tells you WHY some combos or units or solos are that good/bad...
