Since this photo was taken I’ve drybrushed the armour again to bring it out, and I touched up the eyes and details too.

That wraith is fantastic!!

Still working through my Bloodreavers. I've gotten decent amounts of color on 20 of them, only 50 left to go! PROGRESS!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Excellent Exalted Champion of Chaos

Grim Forgotten Nihilist Forest.

Can I do these as an ongoing thing?

So far, I've gathered my 2500 someodd points of Chaos Warrior's. Part of it was an old army I had, the other part a generous donation from a friend getting out of the hobby. I want to repaint all of it. So i'm in the process of getting together the chemicals nessisary.

After a bit of searching I got the rules I want to play with, I want to grab a start collecting box to bolster my force. I need another sorceror, chariot and knights. I also want to include a Daemon Prince, then it's all just a matter of painting it to the best of my ability.

I don't have much else to report. A FLGS is putting a big sale on older WHFB boxes. I grabbed a current edition of Knights *They just had square bases* But they have the older chariot and older knight kit, should I go for 'em?

I've sold so many armies. :(

@ Moogypies

I like it! Very nice work!

I’ve done more work myself:

I’d say these are 75% done. I’m going to layer and drybrush the armour again before edging it in runefang steel, and then I’m going to apply highlights to the boots, gloves, leather and overalls, to really bring them back up. The eyes will probably need work too. I should probably cut out the wash of nuln oil on them but it really picks out the details on the gear.

Well last night my Kharadron Battle force arrived... and today I bought someone else's collection. This weekend I will have a complete Kharadron army with more than I know what to do with.

Go go impulse purchases!

Mr. Cuddles is pretty cool, I like that green on him.

The metal base on that admiral is totally awesome. How did you do it?

Anyone else miss Bottle? There simply aren't any bases that compare. Wonder what happened to him.

He did up the hinterlands project to get onto GW rules dev and it worked. Since becoming a gw rules dev he's not really supposed to post in public forums anymore.

Nice, good for him!

A bit jealous since it's the sort of thing I'd love to do but can't, wrong side of the world and all.

I'm not sure that having the warhammer whatever in dallas will mean they will staff rules devs over here. I don't see that as very workable or optimal to have dev staff split across two continents. Jeremy Vetok seems to be the exception, unless there are other american devs that I'm not aware of.

My admiral is now (more or less) finished:

For anyone who’s interested, the metal is a base coat of Warplock Bronze, washed in Agrax Earthshade, layered in Runelord Brass, with Nuln Oil applied to certain parts, drybrushed in Runefang Steel with a second wash of Earthshade to bring out the green. The blue is a basecoat of Calgar, washed in Guilliman and highlighted with Teclis, with White Scar for certain seconds. The brown is a basecoat of Mournfang, washed in Earthshade, with a layer of Skrag brown and a highlight of Deathclaw. The quilted ruff (which I’m not really satisfied with) is Rakarth Flesh, washed in Reikland Fleshshade, layered in Zandri Dust and highlighted in Ushabti Bone. I’ll probably have to come back and change it.

I really do love seeing people take the time to make a good brass colour. It makes me think 'like gold, but works for a living.'

I wonder if it'd work for armour on my daughters of Khaine?
