i want to make a 750 ig game for a game here is the list the doctirenes are dorp troops carapace armor and grendiers

HQ junior officer las pistol and power weapon
4 guardsmen with plasma guns

TROOPS junior officer lasplistol and power weapon
4 flamers

2 squads with a grenad launcher and a missile launcher

2 squads with vet sarges and flamers

1 squad of strom troopers 1 vet sarge with plasma pistol and a power weapon has a honrifica imperialis
2 plasma gunners
7 hell gunners
well thats the list at 750 comments please

You cant take Drop on Grendiers just so you now and it might be better to count them as a Min squad of vets with 3 Plasma Guns.

Shouldnt take Grenade Lan. and Flamers take Plasma guns

The reason i took strom troopers is because they count as troops choice as greniders and drop troops is for the command squads , buts thanks for the help

Here are my questions:

Veteran Sergeants? Why?

Flamethrowers on your Line Squads? You're playing Guard, not Assaulty Marines.

You have ONE antitank weapon in your entire army. At 750 points, that's very, very bad.

You put an Honorifica, Power Weapon, and Plasma Pistol on your Storm Trooper Sergeant? That's a 56 point model. For 4 more points, you could be fielding a 10-man Line Squad. They will do a heck of a lot more damage than that one tooled up T3 model.

You're wasting points on the power weapons on your Junior Officers.

Carapace Armor is a waste at this small points level. You're wasting 140 points on getting every model a 4+ Armor Save. More bodies is always better.

Here's what I'd do with your list:

O snap !

I 'd Take Drop ,Carapace ,Greniders ,Veterans , Close Order Drill (cause it's free & good for Ld )

3 X Veteran squads of 4 guys and a Vet Srg. and 3 melta/or 3 plasma's how ever you want =285
3 X Storm Troopers of 4 guys with Srg. and 2 Plasma's/Melta's=210
HQ Lt. Lasgun and 4 Meltas =100

And ethier a Basilisk with indriect and or Base Russ with 3 Heavy Bolters on it.
Or even better take 3 Cadian Patteren Sentinel's or Mars for anti Inf.

Every thing as Carapace and has Special weapons.. so yea

You need to take Close Order Drill...it's free

I wouldn't take meltas. Go plasma.

Meltas are good for Anti Tank and Character kill's.

Yeah, but their range is only 12 inches. I don't like getting that close with guard command squads..

This is a Elite Army Bulid I did for him.

Everything is LD 8 or 9 with COD

And plus it's Drop they Jump an die.

Or jump and kill

2nd option is better..lol

Thanks guys for the help also can i really use COD with all units i thought it was just for infentry platoons and consricpts

With Veterans and HQ you can and Storm Troopers o well. There fine on there own.

Thats a Elite List for carapace Max.

Should be fun let me now how it goes.

Rember Never take Grenades and or grenade lancuhers.

Drop the Plasma in the Line Squads, switch the Meltaguns in the Command Squads to Plasma.

Corpsman of Kriegs above list is good for Line IG.
But all those Lascannons at 750pts. Should just drop those and take Plasma.

You could take a Plasma Squad and a Rement Squad if you want.

Also COD i dont think you can use them on anything else besides platoon infantry and Conscript infantry.

I play ig too ive only played 1 and 1/2 of a game so im curious to see how this army turns out.
