I'm working on two lists simultaneously with my return to WHFB, an Empire list and a Daemon list - my friends and I tend to pool our armies and swap up a lot, so having ready lists is a good thing.

Daemons:

Lords/Heroes:

Keeper of Secrets @ 625
-Level 4
-Siren Song, Allure of Slaanesh, Torment Blade

Masque of Slaanesh @ 80

Herald of Tzeentch @ 160
-Winged Horror, Master of Sorcery

Herald of Khorne @ 240
-Juggernaut, Armor of Khorne
-BSB, Great Icon of Despair

Core:

10 Horrors @ 120

5 Flesh Hounds @ 175

Rare:

6 Flamers @ 210

3 Bloodcrushers @ 310
-Full Command

11 PD, 7 DD
68 models

Standard issue furies for marchblocking/harassment, horror speed bumps to throw magic missiles and make dice, four incredibly dangerous hammers, and the Masque to mess with people/suicide charge wizards.

Battle Pope, the knights, and the Steam Tank provide some lovely hammers to go with those anvil blocks. The BSB goes with the smaller swords unit, mounted in order to provide him with something approaching a survivable save.

The BSB should be a Herald of Slaanesh with Daemonic Robes and Allure. You will need something that can keep up with the Keeper and the Masque. M7 just won't cut it.

Also I think you are worring to much about magic. Its not going to effect Daemons as much as most people think.

With that list I feel you are trying to over complicate Daemons much more than is needed an ultimately will cause you trouble in the end.

Loose the Horrors for Daemonettes. and Loose the Blood Crushers for Seekers w/ the Sirens Standard.

For the Empire list. I think you have a fairly solid build. Though I would rather use Free Company Detachments rather than swordsmen.

In the test games I've been playing, Daemonettes have utterly failed to perform at anything compared to Khornates - the S3 really kills their usefulness, it's like throwing 12 point free companies at the enemy. Seekers look much the same, though I haven't tried them personally yet. Can Seekers offer anywhere near the punch and/or "oh crap gotta shoot that" magnet that crushers can?

If you've got some positive experiences with them, I'd love to hear them, since I love Slaaneshi units but this incarnation of the ladies just feels weak.

I ran an all Slaanesh DL at the Baltimore Games Day Tournment and won overall with them . Daemonettes have 2 attacks and WS5 plus armor piercing. This should be more than enough to win against standard units.

The Seekers offer speed and the ability to hit flanks and force your opponent to hold as a charge reaction with the Sirens Standard. They are one of the best units in the book IMHO. Blood Crushers are no where near as effective for their points as Fleshhonds. The only way to make them some what decent is to put a ton of points into the unit and add a Herald.

Each unit in the List has its ups and downs. for the Daemonettes they are fast and can dish out a lot of attacks against lightly armored units or can deal a good bit of wounds to those 5 man cav units with T3.

I would suggest giving them another try.

You were at the helm of that Slaaneshi army?

Wow, congratulations, man. I'll give your advice a shot.

Just remember that with Slaanesh you are the one that choses the fights. don't get into any that you don't think you can win.
