Every release from these guys makes me more and more interested in their models.

I think they're making some of the best looking infantry out there right now.

Thanks Navarro, more cool stuff. Not as mind-blowing as some releases, but it's really good to see the Ariadne starter redone. Would like to see the new Vet though

The basic Ariadna infantry is MUCH improved. Glad they replaced the fur caps with touques.

It plays with very few models. It's a skirmish game. Fun, but you'll need to make a table to play it as standard 'open' boards (read; for 40k) will result in both sides getting ARO'd to pieces.

I like the Knight of Santiago. The whole PanOceania aesthetic is quite nice, with only a few individual minis in that range being somewhat off.

Aside from the all too revealing shirt on one of the gals, the Ariadna starter box looks quite nice and a definite improvement on the old ones. In fact, that midriff-baring heroine is really the only truly objectionable figure of the lot this time.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I find it's a good play on old school pin up with a miniature.

I'd love to have a go at painting one myself actually.

Indeed its rather good to paint up a generous female body miniature now and then, I enjoyed Ikore's celtos gals, some nice freebooter gals, and now these infinity ones satisfy me also.
Besides these are not as weirdly kinky andrea stuff

Infinity's range includes a number of female models some of which look like soldiers who happen to not have Y chromosomes. Some figures (the Corregidor Hacker and Salamander pilot) are in skimpy body-hugging suits that are justifiable on the grounds that their job requires such equipment. like a skin diver. Then there are a few fairly odd ones like the Knightess of Whatever and the catgirl doctor. Fair enough, there is a market for them.

The disappointment with this new Ariadna is that it is a typical front line soldier only she decided a disco crop top and hipster jeans would be appropriate combat dress.

Just my opinion. If I bought it I would mod and paint over the midriff to make her look more tactical.

My problem is the expense. 13.50 for one or two models
(or whatever the price is) is a lot. I still pay it, but I don't
buy everything I want as a result. I understand that it's
for the scale of the game, but still.

You need about 12 figures per "army" but if you want two armies and a selection of options it starts to get expensive.

I see your point malfred even if the game just uses few minis the pricing of 7.5 euros per mini can be a bit to much if you intend to get all you want.

I personally also have to restrain myself because our hobby is far from cheap... but one thing i do apreciate in my hobby is that there is always a company outhere that delivers top quality miniatures... In the times of the very expensive plastic and sometimes prepainted these little super detailed metal miniatures are a rarity and will for sure garantee you hours of fun painting.

I feel that I'm paying the quality of these things so i dont mind only having a couple minis instead of a full army.

I priced up a Yu Jing army and a Nomads army, the total was over £100 for what I wanted. I didn't get them. I am planning to get them when I will have time to paint the figures. My eyes are too bad now to paint 6mm figures so I want to do some 25mm.

The other thing is building good terrain. The game needs plenty of nice terrain.

Thanks for the quick 411 on this game, I am torn as to what I want to play...I like Yu Jing, but I think I like Pan Oceana more...I love the Cutter model, however nomads and the combine look great as well!

Thanks,
Chappy P!
