Howdy guys,
Well, with 5th in mind, I've been looking at my cute skeletons, thinking what I can do to make them kick as much ass in 5th as they do now. So, here's my list for 5th edition. It's similar to my 4th ed list, but I'm thinking the C'tan will be better, along with the heavy destroyers:

Lord w/ Res Orb and Chrono: 150
(with units breaking more, I'm thinking the Chrono will be useful)
Deciever: 300
(Decieve is always awesome, same with the pinning test, and with run, he'll get into combat more)
Monolith: 235
(Left-testicle gay)
Monolith: 235
(Right-testicle gay)
4x Destroyers: 200
(good flankers, kill light vehicles, glanc big-uns)
3x Heavy Destroyers: 195
(Fixes the necrons-glancing problem in 5th, by giving me s9 guns)
17x Warriors: 306
(big blocks are a necessity in 5th)
17x Warriors: 306
(cause of melee CR rules...)
5x Scarab Swarms: 72
(and these piss you off. D-pods are useless now)

Total: 1999

Whatchya think?

Jhagadurn (Zacchius)
I have mech guard.
And crons.
And nidz.
And kroot.
And I play like a d*** with them all.

This list could work but I see some problems.

You have only 1 squad of destroyers. This is bad. in a 200 point game your opponent will have no trouble killing all 4 and denying you wbb. Same goes with your heavy destroyers. Take multiple squads, or none at all.

the list is getting there but it needs a little work.

a chronomatron wont help necrons. when they loose combat they will get run down because theyre only I2. a chronomatron doesnt remove this disadvantage, its a waste of points. a veil would be better because it can remove your recrons from combat altogether, thus removing the disadvantage.

2 monoliths and a deceiver is too many high cost models. all though they are all excellent you should really only be having 2. with true line of sight being what it now is i suspect that 2 monoliths would be the best option.

you need more destroyers. get some more with the points you save from dropping a lith or the deceiver.

you may also need a couple more heavy destroyers.

actually in 5th large blocks of infantry are bad. they reduce the number of scoring units you have, can only shoot at one target and if they are beatn in combat they will all run away (and likely be run down). try and add some more if you can and split them into 3 squads of 12 or so.

the scarabs are find for tying things us.

currently you phase out at 10, killing 32 necrons isnt that hard at 2000pts. add some more necrons.

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?
