i've been looking around but haven't been able to find any new info on the new hordes expansion Metamorphosis... anyone have any details? I've seen the pics of the new Morgul and others that PP has on their site, but that's about it. What other kinda new beasts & units have been mentioned?

We know epic casters are coming (Madrake, Kaya, and others have been announced)

And the new Kaya has a 'compainion' warbeast.

We should know a lot more with the next issue of "No Quarter" which is suposed to preview quite a bit.

Each faction is getting two epics and one non-epic Warlock.

Circle is getting a Tharn Ravager Whitemane, which most assume is a Tartarus-esque Tharn boosting solo.

I'm not sure what else is known. I don't keep up with non-Circle stuff so much.

The only other thing known is that the Trollbloods are getting a new Light Warbeast, the Slag Troll.

Everblight is getting a frigging massive Shredder on a new 60mm base.

Note that we are actually NOT getting one, but if we did, that would be COOL. And if Alten Ashley shoots it, a massive blight bomb comes down from the sky and incinerates him.

So it's really just a caster expansion, not many units & beasts? Seemed like there was a lot of new stuff in Evolution. But I guess there's still a lot unannounced. I'm just starting Skorne now, can't even do 500 pts yet, but I'm getting there.

There is more stuff, we just don't know what it is yet. Warmachine is getting their expansion this summer, and Hordes is getting it next summer. There should be previews in No Quarter! all year.

You can also get the rules for the pre-release minis as they are released. I think the first epic casters are available at Gencon when the Warmachine book comes out.

I think Privateer announced at some pint, that they don't want to make another caster-heavy expansion like Apotheosis was. Apart from that, I don't know anything which wasn't mentioned already.

Ah I get it now. For some reason I thought I read it was coming out this August, but I guess that's just the new casters and stuff

Metamorphosis is next year's release. They're just
previewing stuff through No Quarter at this point. After next
month, expect the previews to start for it (including the
epics already mentioned).
