Hello everyone, I'm Johnno. I've been playing Warhammer 40k on and off for more than a decade, I started during second edition, skipped third completely (played 2nd ed with house rules with a steady group of players in my university town) and have now been playing fourth edition. I'm pretty much a pure bred Space Marines player but have a few figures of Imperial Guard and have recently started collecting Tyranids as a side project.

I found this forum recently, I've mainly been reading the modeling and painting section for inspiration, conversion ideas and just to look at cool pictures. I ended up registering to send a member a private message in favor of reviving a seemingly dead thread (on page 30 or so), but thought I would introduce myself now that I'm a member.
