Here's a list I put together last night, late.....so it might not be in the best shape, lol.

The theme is The Scourged, who (for some reason) hear every lie that men tell, which also somehow gives them "unparralelled knowledge", it also drives them insane. So with that in mind.....

HQ-
Sorcerer- Mark of Tzeentch, Warptime, Bolt of Change, Familiar, Terminator Armor. 200pts.

Elites-
Terminators- x5 w/ Icon of Khorne (to more represent the ones who went insane), x1 Combi-Weapon, x3 Pairs of Lit. Claws, x1 Reaper Autocannon. 240pts.

Troops-
Scourged Marines- x10 w/ Aspiring Champion w/ Powerfist, Icon of Tzeentch, x 2 Plasmaguns. 260pts.----------These 2 squads deal with targets the 1k Sons cant hit.
Scourged Marines- x10 w/ Aspiring Champion w/ Powerfist, Icon of Tzeentch, x2 Meltaguns. 250pts.-----------
Thousand Sons- x10 w/ Aspiring Sorcerer w/ Bolt of Change. 292pts.
Rhinos- x3 w/ Extra Armor. 150pts.

Fast Attack
None

Heavy Support
Obliterators- x2. 150pts.
Vindicator- Havoc Launcher. 140pts.

TOTAL so far: 1682pts. Leaves me with 68pts. to fill.....Any suggestions?
I sure wouldnt mind squeezing a Daemon Prince in, but Im not too worried about only one HQ for this points level.

a demon prince with wings, MoT, warp time and BoC costs 195pts and beats the snot out of a sorcerer (models with MoT can have 2 psychic powers, so there is no need for a familiar).

tzneetch termies are actually better the khorne termies because they dont die as easily. this setup would be better:

5 Scourged Terminators 240pts
Icon of Tzneetch
Reaper Autocannon
Powerfist x2
Combi-plasma x4

thats a good fire support unit that is also hard in combat.

changing one squad of CSM to 1KSons would be good. they really are fantastic and with the combi-plasmas on the termies you should have enough AP2 to kill other terminators.

adding some more oblits instead of the vindicator would be good and give you a little more range. if not you need to giv it demonic possession. even with the changes to blast weapons in 5th its so worth it.

I wanted the Sorcerer in there specifically, because I have an awesome figure converted up for him. I can use a Daemon Prince as well, but not instead of. I will however drop the familiar, I confused it with the SM familiar and the +1 I, but yea, that's out for sure. Also, you're only talking about a 5pt. difference between the Sorc I made, and the Prince you made.

The Terminators I wasnt so much trying to mix a Khornate unit into a Tzeentch themed army, or even trying to supplement the lack of assault based troops by sneaking one in there, I was just going for the fluff aspect, that these were the one's driven insane by the lies of mankind, and therefore, are crazy in combat, at least that's what I figured would represent that, +1A.

I will eventually (if this army even pans out) add a second squad of Thousand Sons, but again, I dont want all Thousand Sons, or I might as well play Thousand Sons.
The Scourged marines are in there for fluff reasons, and because they can pack weapons that Thousand Sons cant (i.e.: meltas/plasmas) to deal with anti-tank.

I can definitely see the appeal to the Oblits and nothing else, but dammit, everyone uses them for all three heavy spots (and Im sure with good reason) I just didnt want to fall into that gap.
If not the Vindicator, I was thinking a Predator or even some Melta or Plasma armed Havocs in a Rhino. I can definitely add Daemonic Possession to the Vindicator though, that'll keep it alive longer.
