Anybody use an eeePC or Wind to view Dakka? I was thinking of buying one, but want to make sure I don't need to scroll to see the whole page of Dakka.

Thanks! Mez

I have been fairly strict in my development of dakka to ensure that it always works in an 800 pixel wide browser. That strictness has lapsed a bit on the home page, but will be reimplemented in a few months. The wiki/articles section uses some untested resolution detection stuff that may or may not work (so might need a bit of scrolling), but the forums and the rest of the site will definitely work on the eee (800 pixels wide) without needing any extra scrolling.

I've used my N800 (similar power to an iPhone or BlackBerry Bold) to browse DakkaDakka without any major problems. The horizontal scrolling on the main page is the biggest problem I can think of. I don't recall any problems with the article system, but I haven't used the browser much since Nokia switched to a terrible Mozilla based browser about 6 months ago.

I have had tabletopgamingnews.com bring the device to its knees. I don't think the device could handle the flash adds, but the devices you're looking at likely have much more RAM, and so that will be less of a problem.
