I'm sitting here building my new nid army out of the box thinking what would be good and not having much of a clue on some of it. I just have figured out what the parts look like

So far this is it, tell me what ya think and what I should ad

walking Tyrant, VC, barb strangler, +1 BS, toxic sac 157 pts

3 warriors, deathspitters, 1 barb strang, talons, toxic sacs 98 pts
(came with the army deal, I'm still tweaking these)

20 spinegaunts 100 pts
15 spinegaunts 75 pts
12 hormagaunts +1 str 144 pts

12 stealers +1 sv, feeders, toxic sac, talons 336 pts

11 stealers +1 sv, feeders, toxic sac, talons 308 pts
(one model missing)

carnifex talons, VC, +1 init, +1 WS, enhanced senses, reinforced chitin, tail scythe, toxic miasma, toxin sac, tusked 195 pts

carnifex VC, barb strangler, enhanced senses, reinforced chitin, 163 pts

total: 1576

I'm planning to add another tyrant - flying - and at least one fex or three. zoans look real nice too with 5th glancing crap not being able to destroy a vehicle. maybe a tyrant guard. don't know about the warriors honestly, but they came with the trade.

I personally don't like spine gaunts, I find termagants to be more effective.

Don't particularly like the build for the stealers either.

They are far too fragile and cost bucket loads when you consider 5th ed changes to rending.

Just a couple of thoughts
