I have been playtesting and tweaking the boys for 5th, and have tenatively come up with this. It is primarily for friendly use, but will see the occasional RT.

Sorceror w/MoS, LoS, Bike, Personal Icon. Will be attached to bikers.

2 x 6 man terminator squads w/ 1 reaper and 1 PF

2 x 10 man CSM squads w/AC w/PF, 2 Melta, IoCG
2 x 10 man CSM squads w/AC w/PW & Combi Melta, 2 Flamers, IoCG

6 x Chaos Bikers w/AC w/PW, 2 Meltas

2 x 2 man Obliterator Squads

63 models, 1998 points. This army is built and painted, where can I improve?

Heavy flamers are pretty good with all the new covers. Combi weapons should also be used on the terminators.

Other then that cults > basic CSM, but if you already have them and wants to run them you better get them some rhinos.

Heh, well, as long as you're not planning on winning that occasional RT you should be fine. But as said above, cults > basics, esp. in rhinos which lets them fulfill their specialist roles that much easier.
Also, swap the biker champ's PW for a PF for tank or MC hunting to go with the meltas. If you were open to it, I'd also smach the termies into one big squad, cut them down a bit, and drop a termie lord in with them (since they can all drop together in 5th).

I have a termie lord, and he has always failed to earn his points back. I've used him w/claws, and I've tried a daemon weapon. He clears the kill zone, and then he is too slow to have much of an impact for the rest of the game. As for having one big termie squad, I think the idea has some merit with the kill points in 5e. My concern is that a 10 man squad deep striking is HUGE. I have icons to bring them in, but they will take up a lot of real estate. I will have to run on arrival or there will be a pie plate coming with my name on it. I will try a couple games and see how it pans out. I also agree rhinos may not be an awful plan.

Yes, I know cults > CSM. I have never had a problem with the vanilla guys. I am loving the uber grit thing, and they are very versitile. I have toyed with the idea of noise marines, but in the 5th it looks like CC will be ineveitable so why pay the points for super shooty guys whan they are only marginally better than CSM once stuck in. I would rather have more bodies.

there are few AP2 pie plates around so that shouldnt really be a concern. when facing armies with blast weapons that are AP2 the smart thing to do is just not deep strike.

really? id rather have 3 times better shooting, better ability in combat and not have my guys run away. CC isnt inevitable in 5th. run doesnt make that much difference. any foot slogging unit would prefer to shoot you anyway (like shoota boys) and other good CC units have a fast way of getting there for turn 2. that combined with tlos so you can see more stuff to shoot at meants that shooting gets even better.

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?
