What size bases come with Tau Crisis suits? I am working on buying a Proxy army of Macross Valkyries, the SDF-01 and a bunch of Destroids. But with 5th edition coming around and base size suddenly becoming a big deal, i don't want to have to have to ask permission to both play with proxy models AND play with larger base sizes.

I believe they come with the medium sized bases (40mm?)

Personally, I say make your army look good and screw base size (within reason). Chances are no one worth playing is going to care as long as the game is fun and the models look cool.

Yeah i was afraid they were 40 mm, the figures i have are about 2,5 to 3 inches tall (About the same size as my Eldar Wraithlord kit) so they need to be on 60 mm bases for stability. I guess i could cheat them onto 40 mm bases if i put them all on flying pegs but i sort of want to avoid that. Its an all proxy game so no gw tournament is ever going to let me play it anyway so that certainly a thing to consider. Are there any real downsides i have to be aware of by putting them on either base size?
