im starting a chaos army but when i expand my force i would like to make a nurgle themed army hence the plague marines,
Demon Prince 110pts
5x CSM Aspiring Champ PF PG 130
5x Plague Marines Plague Champ PF PGx2 185
Obliterator + 75=500pts
Also i may have to be fighting a deathwing army do you think all plasma guns is over kill and is the obliterator worth the points? would more troops be more useful?

That's true. I'm not sure about the Plague Marines (No codex on me), but at least the normal CSM. If you're fighting Deathwing in 500 points, you should be fine. The Obliterator is good.

plague marines may have 2 special weapons in a squad under 10 guys. regular CSM, however, cannot.
your demon prince needs wings. wings make him unbelieveably better.
plague marines are bettet than regular marines, but you cant put many inot a 500pt list, so theres not a lot you can do about it. just bear it in mind when you scale your army up.
another oblit would be nice.

thanks guys soz about the 2 PG's, i could drop one and take another CSM then or try to find another 5pts for the wings on my DP but im not sure what to sacrifice for them
EDIT: Actually jst read the list as plague marines with 2 PG and CSM with one, as i messed up writing the list out, the points still add to 500 that way.
I'm still not sure about where to take points, or wether to for my DP's wings
