I have had a chaos army for years and I am thinking this would be a fun take on them for 5th Ed. I am sure a lash would make it better, and I might still put one in there. What else could be done to harden it up?
Thanks
If you want it harder cut those Termie lords for
DPs. You know the drill. More cost effective, blah blah, better options, blah blah blah. Splitting the
CSM squads into smaller squads will also help you have more scoring units. I'd say cut them into 4 10 man units with a Champ w/
PF and an
IoCG. Khorne is overpriced for anything less than 10 man squads but I'd say go with
IoCG to squeeze more in somewhere. Cut the Meltas though. Needs more cowbe- um, Obliterators. Your lacking anti-tank. The lesser demons could be cut too. To be honest you also might want to drop the Blastmasters. For the points shifting around you could give those two their Sonic Blasters and run the extra two Oblits and Lash
DPs. That way you would have two mobile shooty forces to run around and lay down a lot of assault/heavy fire shots. Then the 4 Squads of normal
CSM can grab objectives as they please while the
DPs manipulate enemies near/away into pie formations for the Oblits who can deep strike in.
Edit: I knew I missed something. Cut that Greater demon and you'll have more than enough points to shift things around and maybe run some lesser demons to
DS in if you really favor them.
