Hello All

I am quite new to the game (hordes) and I have a question regarding the Lylyth hellsinger "Witch Mark"

as written on the card "after hitting a model with hellsinger ranged attack , Lylyth may target and automatically hit the model with a magic attack regardless of range or LOS this activation"

does the spell still costs fury points to cast

example: lylyth fires the hellsinger for boosted attak and damage (2 fury) and using the witch mark casting erruption of spines (3 fury)

what happens:

A: Lylyth spent 2 fury points this round (the spell is cast without spending fury)

B: Lylyth spent 5 fury points this round (the spell still costs fury)

does anyone know?

Yes, you would still spend fury to cast the spell. The spell will automatically hit the target affected by Witch Mark once it has been cast. You simply do not have to make a 'to hit' roll.

So, to answer your multiple choice question, the answer is B.

Edited for proper verbage.
