Good army or not?

HQ
2 Deamon Prince w/MOS, Lash of Submission

Troop
5 Units of 9 or so Plague Marines w/champ, pw, 2 plasma guns

Heavy
3 Units of 1 Obliverators

Daemon
Summoned Greater Daemon

I dont know if this list will suffice in the new senarios, or if I should drop 2 units of marines, give the other 3 Rhino's and take 2 units of Terminators w/Champ, Pair LC.

If you're going to spam the lash, you should make the PM squads Noise Marine Squads w/ maxed sonic blasters and a blastmaster in each squad.

And by god, do not take Obliterators. Make room for some more anti-tank somewhere. Obliterators are inferior to every form of anti-tank in the Codex. They can be instantly killed, they are slow, they are overpriced, and they can be taken down by small arms fire. Never ever ever take Obliterators.

I would suggest dropping the GD and the Obliterators to get 2 Las predators.

Catch me if you can.

Yeah no. Oblits are fine. You just don't want 3 squads of one. That's 3 kill points.

are you high?

obliterators are best BEST form of anti-tank in the codex. they DONT die as often as other anti-tank, they also kill MEQs and horde, something which other heavy choices cannot. oblits are the best heavy choice chaos can have. play with them, then play with some preds and havocs. youll see the difference. youll agree with me.

your list if fine. i suggest you have some noise marines so you have more horde killing ability and you need more oblits. you should have a minimum of 6 in a 2000pt army, i suggest 9.

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

All the oblits would DS in behind enemy tanks to take advantage of rear armour, or next to assaulting units to give a flame attack before a unit assaults.

I wasn't putting to many points into each, thats why there are 3 units of 1, so I can DS into 3 different areas of the table. This also free's up points for more marines or Term.

Unless you're playing Tau, I would never DS Oblits. You want their firepower on the board as soon as possible. They are the best source of anti-tank you have. Get them shooting early and often. I only DS vs. Tau b/c they tend to jump shoot jump, and DS negates that. It's an expensive sacrificial lamb, but they usually force the Tau to lay off my other advancing troops for a turn (as well as dishing out plasma death).

Point is, they have range, they have range with movement and you want the antitank stuff on the board for the first half of the game.
