Stalwart Ultramarine Tactical Marine

Seattle, WA

I have been posting here for about a month or so now and I don't think I ever got around to introducing myself. I am spacemarinejunkie and I play 40k ultramarines. I have a fairly large model collection for marines along with the start of an Eldar army. I play sparingly and would like to start playing more games.

4th edition of 40K was kind of a test run for me. I really didn't study the game like I should have in order to play effectively. With this edition I am going to take about a month to soak in the new rules and play a few games.

I am also getting into Warhammer Fantasy and learning those rules as well. I am going to be buying an orc and goblin army after having already bought the starting blocks for a Vampire Counts and Dwarf army. Lol.

Who are the tactical gurus on this board? I know it is a big board but I am sure there are a few well known tactical masters on here whose threads would be good for a relative newbie such as myself to follow. Thanks!

One last thing, the podcast Yakface did with the guys at D6 generation is awesome. If you are new to the game or still trying to learn fifth edition you should check it out. It really goes over the changes and other aspects of the game well. It will also inspire you to get out there and play.
