Alright I have been messing around with a build and this is what Ive come up with, I have not actually gotten to play yet so any advice you guys have on the list is appreciated
BUT please if you do have advice dont just say blah units suck I need to know why otherwise ill never learn. Thanks!

Ive considerd dropping the blade for a second spawning of tepok but at the momment i think its usefull to have a magical weapon and flaming attack for regenerating baddies

~The General Idea~
When needed scouting skinks will be deployed to take out a siege weapons or other nuicenses and harrass the enemy / grab a corner for end game VP.
Terradons for march blocking, flank harassment and if needed Secondary war machine hunting.
Kroxigors will of course march behind skinks for skirmish screen before charging through against heavily armored low ws units preferably
Cold ones Will ride with the mounted hero at higher WS opponents / low numbers blocks The goal is to charge them and then break off with the hero to hit there flank with him.
Mounted hero - See above
Nike hero - Hunting lord type units And hopefully harrassing the flanks of things the kroxigors engage
Skink priest -Line of sight and feeding the slann Dice
Saurus/Slann Block- Put spells in the right place weaken enemy blocks cause havoc etc
Salamanders - Put em up againt large chunks of enemy blocks and enjoy?
skinks - annoy the enemy and use as fodder

don't drop saurus for some swarms as those suck. that saurus unit just look screwed up. drop the cold one riders and the saurus unit for a temple guard unit with full command, otherwise your slaan will die pretty quickly.

also the JSOD shouldn't have the enchanted shield. and the mounted scar vet shouldn't have a great weapon as he only gets +1S for it when mounted and has to use both hands so he can't have a shield as well in combat. give the mounted guy a shield and some magic weapon, like the sword of might and you'll be much better off in general. put your mounted character in the temple guard unit them to get an extra 2 models in it and a great deal of better fighting ability in the unit.

your skink cannot feed the slaan power die. the die he saves are used for himself only as in the magic phase each wizard can only use the die from the army pool (the 2 free ones) and the ones he himself generates, the same works with die taken form magic items.

I agree that swarms aren't the best at the moment so I wouldn't bother with them. However, in terms of your slann dieing without temple gaurd, it really comes down to how you use him. Try it out and see how well you do and then you can always switch it up later. One of my favorite spell tables to roll on when playing with a Slann that is on his own is shadow. If you roll something you don't like then you simply select the first spell, which is extermemly useful for a slann on his own. With it he can move all over and stay away from any enemies that happened to get within charge range and without one of your groups blocking their path. Its also useful for extracting your other heros out of an assault that is going bad.

Note: D+ can take over 12 hours of driving in Canada. It's no small task here.
