ok, just a rough idea that ive had, and now thinking about developing it, im working on alot of armies at the moment, but i think this one could be alot of fun.
i was thinking of making a bretonian themed ork army.
for example, instead of grail knights that have found and drunk from the grail, i would have git knights, orks that have met the git, in game terms though they are just a unit of boarboys with a mgic banner.
another example; instead of peasent bowmen with defensive stakes ill have a unit of arrer boyz, but with defensive snotlings (just a wall of snotlings to take the impact from charges) no use in game terms, but adds character to an army.
lead by the great ork warboss known as the "Green Knight"

as moddeling terms basic idea is to have an entire mounted ork army, all mounts with have bretonian style barding, all spears will be replaced with lances (the more important the ork the bigger n better the lance)
so special choice will consist of boarboyz while troop is wolf riderz with barding aswell (no spyder riderz as it wouldnt fit into the army)
as a rare i was thinking of going for a giant with a lance and shield and some armour, but have also thought of mounting him on some form of beat, i think my 1st idea (ogre rhinox) is way too small though, and since the new giant is plastic it could be alot easier to convert.

anyways, long story short, i was just hoping for some oppinions and ideas while i await more GS (use it too quickly)
got a few boards and wolfs lying about, they will get used as "test subjects"

also, quick add on to the whole "git knights"
all i was thinking of doing was buying a box of black orks, chopping them about abit to make the riders, gives it a more knightly feel with all the armour, and its barely any more work.
so £15 for 10 black orks
£16 for 10 boars

ok, now ordered a box of plastic black orks, 10 board, and some other random bits plus alot of green stuff.

may take some time though, current projects;

this , genestealer cult / army , southlands army , daemon army, should stick to 1 project, but i get bored easily lol

I played against bretonian rats once, The army was awsome. It won best themed.

sounds like a good idea, could be a nightmare to play with though.
