Tomorrow Dark Elves comes out and from something let slip first at Gencon OZ and then at two separate store visits that Warriors of Chaos is next, so what do you think will follow? and what would you like to see following? (Yes two different things)
possibilities are Chaos Dwarves their in the back of the Hardbound but haven't bean seen in Dead Tree as a full List since the "White Drawf Presents" book (they did appear in Ravining Hoards for 6th ed back in Y2K) and it's a good excuese to release a whole range of new Minies wile returning an old Fan Favorite List.
Dogs of War, an other Fan Favorite (the only reason why every man and his Dog isn't playing them out my way is because their not a Tornie Legal List) with the RoRs already available on-line all they would have to do is (Initaly) release a small range of new Plastics and they would have an Impressive range on Minies for the army. Added Bonus is Players can use RoRs in Non-Tornie Games as Mercs in other armies or as Minie variety in established armies (Mostly Empire but their is something for most other Armies) making Dogs of War an easily Marketable Army to established players.
Or they could continue to Re-Issue the few remaining 6th ed lists that can Sub for 7th ed lists (Skaven, Bretonnians & Lizardmen) for the time being (Some better than others). Nine of the Twenty people I can easily play against run Bretonnians none use Squires/Yeomen because of the Cost (22 OZ Bucks a Minnie) and only three use Men-at-Arms (Because of how hard they Suck against everyone else's Elves and Dwarfs or Elite Cav), their are a bunch of Skaven Minies that some folks want to be re-done in Plastic (Don't know why for some). If GW continues down this path they would have a bunch of A$38 books that would fly off the shelves along with the new (and quite a few current) Minies, Making a Good Marketing decision of revitilising the Fan Bace in the Lists and drawing new players in to the Minies ranges that have alredy payed for their development alowing GW to defray the Development Costs of the new segments of the Lists Minnie Line and keeping the price of the New Minies down.
An other option is all new lists and all new Mini ranges like Kasivite, Norse, Arabay or such (their are a few folks out my way with an interest in Kasivites).
So as I said at the Top ot the Topic wich way will GW likily go? and wich way would you like to see GW go?

Lizards are up next hopefully with new cold ones, Stegodons, Engine of the Gods, and Kroxigor models. Not much they can tweak with the rules hopefully they won't perform and ork adjustment on them. After that beast will need some definite work and then Skaven.

The Beast of Chaos FAQ mentions work being done on their new army book, and it would be a logical next step after the other two Chaos books.

They also need to redo the Tomb Kings, which ties in with what someoen was askign about Nagash. It appears to me that they need to get all the armybooks uniform, so Skaven and Tomb Kings should be a top priority.

I can't remember where I saw it but I read it was gonna be Dark Elves, Warriors of Chaos, Lizardmen, Beastmen then Tomb Kings. Take that with a grain of salt or 2 though.
Beasts and TKs are what I'm interested in.
I'd love to see a DOW army book but I think they're trying to keep all armies contained to 1 book per army so are you even still allowed to add DOW units to armies now? Wouldn't they have to make it as it's own army? I haven't played much WFB in the new version yet :( mostly been focusing on 40k thanks to Apocalypse.

Well, according to GW (heard this during New Product Seminar at GamesDay, so take with a grain of salt, as the guy clearly didn't know THAT much).
Chaos Dwarves are only MARGINALLY more probable than Squats in the next decade...
Dogs Of War are not currently on any drawing board.
Beasts of Chaos are being looked at, since Warriors and Daemons will both have been updated.
Nothing conclusive, otherwise.
Personally I'd like them to redo Brettonia, just because I'm selfish and they are one of the armies I play (the others being VC and WE, neither of which need a redo). And because they kinda need it. They've got alot of stuff that got borked with 6th Ed. But they're still plenty viable, so I won't be too dissapointed if I don't see them done in the next 2 years.

So their going with the Re-Issue option?
Dark Elves today, Chaos Warriors around New Years then who knows? from what folks are saying hear Lizardmen
I heard tell that the Skaven and Undead Guys are out of the development loop for the time being (Working on Non-GW projects), so looks like More Bloody Chaos. one out of four books in the next year are going to be "Non-Evil", When are the good guys going to catch a brake and get more lists? the "Non Badguys" are outnumbered Nine to Six.

KK - you know what happened the last time GW did that! Ogre Kingdoms!
I think GW's going to go back to it's core - do Lizards, BoC, then tighten up some of the remaining 6E armybooks that haven't been updated. But Chaos Dwarfs? They suffer from the same problems that Dark Eldar in 40K do. The fluff is pitiful and the existing models are naff. They need a vast overhaul and they're not nearly sexy enough as an army concept to attract that kind of attention from GW. Frankly, the fact that GW did Ogre Kingdoms before re-doing Chaos Dwarfs says a lot about what they thing of the evil stunties.

I <heart> Chaos Dwarfs, in all of their 'weird' facial hair big-hatted glory.
But at this point, I'd even settle for the Hellcannon crew versions.
Anything!

It would be nice to see new TK. But only because I play them. I got my new dwarfs couple years ago. But seriously, I would like to see TK get something worth taking in a competitive list other than two screaming catapults and a casket of souls.
