I think you've nailed it (donkey-cave) it looks amazing and the weathering is spot on (double donkey-cave) the chips on the helmet are awesome (bah there you go again!)

Stunning. Excellent work sir. Positively charged, just looks so vibrant.

From a painting perspective he looks great! From a model perspective some weird choices. Not sure if you assembled it or it came that way, but the arms are upside down (making th ammo feeds backwards) and the missing missile pods look a bit strange.

THe model was built incorrectly when I got it. It was either this or the ammo box’s floating in mid air. This was the less offensive choice in my opinion, seeing as the boxes miraculously slotted properly upside down. My only guess is the client built it this way accidentally. Oh well

Looks like you had a lot of fun with the weathering on this piece. That's my favorite part when I paint. Old rusty dirty teared down plates of metal, that's all I love painting.

Now....onto a project for ME. something ive wanted to paint for a long time. The new Van Saars...might as well be bulky plastic infinity models and they are a joy and revelation to paint. heres my progress on the first one...having gone back to heavy glazes for the green armor. Alot of clean up to do no worries i see it all ..

Lol you guys im not tryin to make any enemies here!! i just likes putting paint on plastic!!
Speaking of which....what a segue....that project is DONE. And it took a freaking lot of time. So the armor was painted in glazes, and everything else opaques....ive included a little insta picture kinda illustrating the techniques behind it. The base it greys airbrushed...then i went in with brush edge highlights scratches and such then over that i went in with oil paints and brushes for stains and fgrimes and overall dirty cyber concrete. This model was really fun for me and kind of is a culmination of alot techniques im learning simultaneously. anyways cheers you guys hope you dig it....

Hey you guys! Whats good?! Just throwing up a quick WIP pic of my current mini, really pushing hard for techniques that are challenging to me! This model has been done so many times to the utmost stellar level so theres alot of inspiration to gather from google i def have been studying others versions of this...Kinda going a bit scratched and used nmm gold with a bit world of warcraft thrown in....obviously alot to do and the greys are mostly color blocking for test
