Some alternative female tau heads to use for the model to represent my character in a Rogue Trader RPG I'm playing in.

Also a mini of Katina from this set to use as the basis for the model of the Arch-Militant in that game.

Can't you just use the weapons with the existing butts/arms from the regular Van Saar kit?

For magnetisers, more arms are the thing. I used all of mine up from the regular kit.
For anyone else, that's a lot of wasted options, with only 4 weapons to use from the pile of 20 in the set.
I can just see what look like a Las sub-carbine in the set though. That makes it almost worth getting.

[update]
That got me to check again, and the "Aircraft and Aces – Asuryani Cards" are back on pre-prder.
So, I just added the "Van Saar Weapon upgrade" to the order. That sub-carbines won me over. Lots of melee options and headshelped there.

You lot are bad for my wallet.

Uh, you need the core box of bodies to put the new guns on and that comes with butts for everyone?

Friend of mine's "paint and tools" box used to be just a crate with everything shoved inside. Reaching in there was always a gamble, as you were just as likely to retrieve a paint pot or brush as you were a new case of tetanus or arterial bleeding.

Fun times.

Did quite a lot of work on my Callidus Assassin and a bit on my Vindicare Assassin. Both are great minis to practise edge highlighting. I've actually almost completed my Callidus Assassin already which made me happy. As I said earlier it'd be awesome to be able to play them in Kill Team 2: Electric Boogaloo, maybe two of them take up a Fire Team? So you could have seven guardsmen working alongside a Vindicare and a Callidus? I think balancing Eversor Assassin and his explosion would a bit of a bastard though lol

That's not an issue, if you buy the regular kit you'll have plenty of arm/butts. The upgrade pack may hurt only if you managed to find extra bodies (with no weapons) for cheap, and want to combine with the upgrade pack, which is not really likely considering the cost of the regular 10 man kit that is low enough that getting bitzes for something like 10 bodies is actually more expensive than getting the whole box.

Some Mechanicus Standard Grey and Astrogranit Debris for my bases. Also, my Officio Assassinorum operatives as I've made them be on a dead world covered in ash like earth at the beginning of Terminator 2, so I want to make it the same for the enemies of the Assassinorum: Execution Force board game as well.

My aim was to cool off for a few months - maybe to the end of the year - and not buy anything for a while (with one very specific exception). I was even going to pass on the new KT box (except for a few rare Sector Imperialis frames from that box).

But, thanks to GW's Soviet/CCP-style "unperson-ing" of their various terrain kits, where things will just go OOP without warning or explanation, and the recent revelation that the Necromunda Gang Stronhold is now gone (according to GWUS), my hand was forced.

So I picked up 4 sets, plus some extra walls and extra stairs/platforms.

And the specific exception I mentioned? Well that's to get hold of 3 of the new Captain from Imperium Magazine (as two friends also wanted one), and Sergeant Castus.

MOAR ZONE MORTALIS!

Another set of walls (think I’ve now got six or seven in total?

Another set of stairs and platforms (three or four of those)

That natty transfer set whilst I remembered it existed.

Fourth and final (lol) floors

And a pot of XV-88 to just edge me over the £150 target so I can get a second Sgt Castus.

Why I shall have the prettiest Zone Mortalis Board in all the land! And being able to do a full 4x4 also means that when plastic Heresy comes along, said Prettiest Zone Mortalis Board In All The Land* can pull double duty like the dirty beast it is.

Warning, this episode features copious amounts of Zone Mortalis. Hobbyists with heart conditions are advised to not look directly at Zone Mortalis. This also applies to hobbyists without heart conditions. It's very pretty. See? See how pretty it is? It's very pretty. I'd like to run my fingers through its stairs, and I'm just a voice.
