Im in the concept stage of a chaos space marine army,called the hollows so im going to post some background fluff here and some concept art when its done


Many stories have bean told of the hollows none entirly correct,The hollows are a chaos chapter ancient warriors who served the emporer before the heresy,But unfortunetly for them their years of loyalty where frownd upon,when the emporer signed a degree that the then known Iron ghosts would be test subjects for a new geneseed therapy.unfortunatly none survived the tortures test bestowed upon them they died knowing the emporer had no love for them.The armour of the Iron ghosts was thrown into a unused ship and sent to space with all evidence of the emporers betrayel.The ship flew for years until it enterd the warp.Over a period of days the once proud men of the Iron ghosts where reanimated, their souls living in the armour they once wore.Many would of found this a gift but to them it was a curse, they had bean reanimated but at a price, they must drain the souls of their former brothers or fall back in to the deathly slumber and only when the soul of the emporer is drained can they breack the curse.The armour of the hollows thrives with drained souls and their bolters are known to scream when fired liek the soul of a man where shot instead of a bullet.

Ok well im thinkin of keeping the name iron ghosts but im stuck on something i want to paint them dark blue with a silver or gold trim,but i dont want it to look like thousand sons.also if anyone has any ideas please comment,and im looknig for skeleton heads without helmets!

Well i modeld a sword out of the black templar sword arm witch looks good, i aslo reangled a arm and gave it a old school plasma pistol from the khorne beserker sprue.

I quite like this, and Im interested to see where you go. If you want inspiration, look at LOTD, moreso the new stuff than the old, as they are sort of painted as ghosts. Perhaps you could have them painted normally, perhaps with a dark colour scheme, but have glows coming out of gaps in the armour. i have seen this done on the eyes, but not on other gaps such as legs, joints etc.

In game terms, you could use them as Rubric Marines, as they have a similar backstory that would reflect yours well, and be legal for tournies.

im model terms it might be worth using possessed bodies or sculpting faces onto thier armour.

as for the re-animation part, makes em kinda like k sons

just heavily converted marines painted in ghost like colours, ill try n dig em out.

not that i recall no, but i think you can use the fron of the aspiring champion one, not that this is an extra torso, but yeah
