Some of you may remember an earlier post I made about buying a Dreamforge Titan. Well, I have made a few discoveries during the assembly.
First, is that it is a COMPLETE pain in the butt to assemble. It is like an Armorcast Warhound in that the Torso bolts onto the legs and the torso bolts onto the the arms from inside the Carapace armor. However, unlike the armorcast models the carapace does not just sit on top of the model, it needs to be glued on. This is further complicated by the fact that the arms need to go on AFTER the carapace is mounted. So, I basically have two options. Either laydown a layer of glue, then bolt the arms on, then quickly slap everything together, or modify the arms. Neither is an attractive option.

The second thing I noticed is that it looks like I can put spare Armorcast weapons on this thing. The bolts that connect everything are the same size. It looks like I will be able to mix and match weapons if I want. So, with the extra Armorcast weapons I have I now have the option of Gatling mega bolters, Turbo lasers, and the Dreamforge Chainsaw arm and Gatling gun. Any ideas on which three I should use?

Lastly, I figured out how to mount a third weapon to the Carapace. The answer is simple. Double sided tape. In the one time a year I will use this model this will be enough to hold an extra weapon on. The rest of the year I have a wonderfully unaltered collecter's item.

I havent seen a dreamforge titan before, and google keeps on turning up dead links and concept sketches. Could you possibly post pics?

Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.
