Ive just started a Bretonnian army and i was wondering if a Lord on a Hippogryph may join a unit of Pegasus knights or does he have to be alone?
I believe ive read somewhere that he may not join a unit but i cant find it anywhere.
Got a game tomorrow so any help is much appreciated.

Characters can NEVER join flying untis. Ever.
He COULD join a unit of infantry or cavalry, but as he'd be US 5+ he can still be picked out for shooting.

Manfred a model on a flying mount may NEVER join any unit and must operate independently. So a Lord on a Hippo can't join any unit.

Wait i was under the understanding that my Lord on a Pegasus could join a unit of Pegasus knights, is this incorrect?

No he cannot. If you take a Lord on a Pegasus, all it does is lift the restriction of 1 unit of Pegasus Knights. When I field one, I keep him within' a couple of inches of the unit.

Drahzar is correct the only thing a Bret Lord on a Pegasus does is allow more units of Peg knights.
The Rule Book clearly states that no unit on a flying mount may join a unit.
