Ive just bought the codex the other day and have two questions
1st. do repeating crossbows suffer the negative 1 when fireing muiliple shots and can they shoot and move??
2nd. do cold one knight get th to4 because they are mounted on cold ones for purpose of combat??
Just trying to work out these issues i hate getting the rules fouled up while playing a game and thnx.

To answer your first question: yes, you do take a -1 modifier when firing multiple shots with your Repeater Crossbows.

I don't understand. Are you asking if Cold One Knights get T4 because they are mounted on Cold Ones? If so, no. They are still T3, but they do get a +2 bonus to armor save, giving them a total 2+ armor save when combined with their shield and heavy armor.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias

And yes, rxb can move-and-shoot.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

The reason Ive asked is because i lost my rule book over the weekend, luckily its the small one, otherwise i wouldve just looked it up.

1. yes and yes. repeater crossbows suffer the -1 for multiple shots and they can move and fire. (DE pg 44, BRB Pg 57)
2. no. cavalry models always use the riders Ld, T and W. (BRB pg 7) I don't know why they even include them on cav models.

I really just think it's for reference/comparison. If you're running a skirmish game or making a scenario, you might have call to have unridden cold ones or some such.
