... if you said that the Black Reach minis sucked or were sub-par compared to other minis, get out your ketchup, because it's time to eat your words.

Gareth over at Warseer painted up these Marines from AoBR, and they are amazing. Go check them out.

As I had said before, a good paint job will make them blend in with your force just fine. The ork nobz don't look 'pants' as so many seemed to think, either. The Terminators are almost completely indistinguishable from the multi-part Terminators. And Oh Noes, the marines are facing forward. Darn, time to get out those modelling knives and point their heads down the barrels of their weapons.

Just wanted to point this out as they looked great and I defy anyone to say otherwise seeing what can really be done with them, just with a nice paint job.

Looks ace. I can't wait for this set to be released, I'm definitely going to be picking up 3 to bolster my Death Wing and Orks. Don't know what I'm going to use the tac marines for yet, though.

Having gotten to play with the models for the last few months I knew they were fine minis, especially the tac troops with helmet armour variants.

They would blend in fine with a force anyway, just need to spread them out amongst the rest of your army.

Very nice! Extremely well detailed, I esp. like the Terminators.

Very cool! I am looking forward to getting those tac marines to nail down the scheme for my new army. Not my fav sculps so I can experiment a bit.

The models are exactly as I thought.
Very nice, but can't compare to the more expensive sets (including ALL aspects, such as customability).

That's not necessarily a bad thing... just... a thing.

Heck. I plan on buying 2 AoBR boxes, myself.

Not a big fan of the Dread.

Oh, and, is it just ME, or does the painted Termie Sgt look a bit like DENIRO?

Very nice looking set. They crammed a lot of stuff on the sprues indeed...

I think the dreadnought will become a firesupportdread for my marines. The weapons will be added easily enough...

Makes me almost Sad I will only be buying 1 box, but then again, I do not need more orks Right now and I can always get another box in a few months, if I have the extra cash then...

Think I'm gonna have to pick up a box, eventually. Always did like space marines, and the orks are growing on me. Goddamn fungus.

Yes the minis do look awesome but for a guy that likes heavy convos, like myself, nothing can beat the multipart sprues.
Nevertheless I need some Black Reach minis for terrain.

Heh. So is there the rumored $4.99 objective in the box?

and the warboss, amazing is an understatement
im buying it for the marines, and the GF is having the orks, but i think i might keep the warboss for myself
