Well here is my in-progress Tau army. The only models I didn't take pictures of yet are the ones that aren't fully painted (excluding touch ups and detail work) Suggestions and constructive criticism are welcome. I'm not a very good painter and so would like some pointers. thank you.
The little bit under his rifle is a markerlight I modeled myself...nothing too special I know.
The Team leader...Dawn of War style
And that's what i've got so far. The reason the heads of those without helmets are still white is part of my army fluff. They were left behind on a zombie infested planet Oh and sorry for the low quality pics. I don't have a digital camera, my phone can't put pics on my comp. and all i've got is a crappy webcam

Is the white the final color or is that still to be painted parts of the figure. If the later, I'd recommend putting down all of your basecoats first, before taking too much time on doing details, that way, if you overpaint, it's easy to fix.
quick idea to mak the armour stand out loads, with little work.
water down some scab red or red gore and use it as a wash over the arour.
with the white give it a wash ofbadab black then pick out raised areas in white again.
it would make the models stand out alot more.
Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.
Red and white looks sweet on Tau - my own (unsolicited!) suggestion: fine black lining in all the grooves would really make the white areas atand out - think Imperial Stromtroopers.
But, uh, zombie Stormtroopers.

Haha it's kind of funny cuz one of my friends did exactly that so they would look like Stormtroopers. But ya that's a good idea...think I'll do that as well.
