Blood-Drenched Death Company Marine

Mississippi

Need some advice before I commit to modeling it up the way that I want to.

I have a small crimson fists force that I've had on the back burner for...well..years now.

I'm finally getting around to assembling a captain miniature. Nothing extravagant, but something to have some fun with.

I have his body, head, and backpack assembled and based, but am at something of a loss as to what to arm him with, not wanting to do one thing, and have it rendered immediately un-usable by the up-coming space marines codex.

I had planned on doing a dynamic running pose, with a power-fist on the left hand, reaching out in the direction he was running, and a power-weapon extended out behind him (the power-armored grey knight justicar's right arm w/ sword).

So, he'd be armed with a power weapon, power fist, and whatever else a captain would be armed with. In the present marine codex, this is legal, but in the up-coming codex? Who knows...

I'm a big fan of the pose, despite the fact that I won't get an extra +1 attack in close combat due to not having two single hand weapons, I still would like to do it....

IF it's legal in the new marine codex... Anyone out there able to confirm if this is a valid configuration for a captain to have? Don't really need to know points costs, or anything else along those lines.

Thanks in advance.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

London (work) / Pompey (live, from time to time)

kinda pointless in gaming terms, but it would look good.

had to retire alot of my stuff thanks to the new codex, like my units of 7 marines (2 with meltas)
since they are no longer legal :(

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.
