looking through some of the junk on my comp i found the rules for rhinox riders, fully upgraded they can kill anything by the looks of it.
special choice in ironskin army.
rare and special in ogre army.
2 rare if used as a dogs of war unit.
3 rhinox rider - 300 pts
iron fists - 30 pts
heavy armour - 18 pts
full command - 60 pts
all upgraded to bull rhinox - 135
total: 543 points, seems alot, but i say its worth it.
may also take a magic banner up to 50 pts, but i wont add that in.
unit strength 6 / 18 for unit.
attacks;
ogres: 10 Str 4 attacks at WS 3
bull rhinox: 12 Str 6 at WS 4
3x D3 impact hits on charge at Str 6!
summary:
unit strength 18
2+ combined armour save
12 S6 attcks (15 - 21 on charge!)
10 Str 4 attacks
charge range of 14"
cause terror
Thoughts:
these things will crush any units they attack.
anyone used these yet?
any thoughts or ideas?
Edit: spelling.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor. |

They're basically ogres riding dragons in chariots. They are a pretty unstoppable unit however you they take up too many points and most good players can just bait them away so they aren't a super competitive choice.

"But remember that there are over 1000 chapters of spase marienz! So the SM codex has to cover over 1000 different kinds of spase marienz! Codex CSM only has to cover 1 kind (the Chaos kind). And I don't even think Eldar are a kind of spase marienz at all. Hurr!"

It's a company which specialises in the selling of plastic representations of Elves, Goblins, and 9 foot tall superhuman soldiers from the future - have you ever considered that, as adults, it is US that is intruding upon THEIR world?

i know they can be baitd, but if i keep khark ironskin near them (since he cant join units) then they can use his LD of 9 to stop them running off most of the time.
ok, he is another 485 pts, and best used in atleast 3,000 points games, but he will make them even better.
5 str 5 attacks
5 str 6 attacks
and another D3 str 6 on the charge.
a Str 3 breath weapon with -2 save.
rhinox riders become a special choice.
mix that together and they cannot be outnumbered easily, they hit with so many high str attacks that they will kill anything they charge, and with thier saves they will survive alot longer.
with the addition of a magic banner they ge even better.
they are the ultimate unit, i am concidering taking one in a 2,000 points game, takes up a special and rare, but rarearent much use anyway; gorger, slave giant, manhunters.

Watch out for warmachines. And dragons. And fast stuff with shooting (It's hilarious to watch skinks/wood elves/dark riders etc. tie up a 600 point unit that can't catch them b/c of terrain or whatever).
Seriously, they are gross and most people with balanced lists don't like playing against them. It's like a gunline, pope/stank list or anything else in the category, it's powerful, but not very fun. Also, they are often not legal for tournies. (Many limit/disallow DoW.) They are also pricey.

as such they arent DoW, just an addition to the ogres list, and just like most ogre lists they can be used as DoW.
i love them, just the sheer size and look, makes bloodcrushers look like i-dogs (small robotic dogs that used to be a craze)

ghark and 5 rhinox riders take up nearly 1k of points.
2 units of bulls.
2 units of gnoblars.
2 butchers.
3 normal rhinox riders, iron fists, heavy armour and full command - 408
should be close to 2k points.

...unstoppable? Hardly. A unit of Spirit Hosts will stall you out right quick, since you don't have any magic attacks. (As I learned the hard way) Oh, you can crumble one or two per turn with CR, assuming they aren't able to do any wounds to you, but you'll still be stuck there until they're gone.
Still, i luvs my rhinox riders and likes to use dem when i can.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Other things to worry about is the Clan Eshin Skaven list led by the master assassin+fellblade, with a couple of lvl 2 sorcerers and another assasin with a weeping blade. Nothing like 1 character with 4 strength 10 d6 wound attacks and another with 4 strength 5 d3 wound attacks to carve the hell out of some ogres..
