I've been looking to expand my 1500pt Chaos army to a 1750 list. Here it is so far...

2x DP w/ wings, MoS, Lash

3x Terminators w/ combi-meltas

Dreadnaught w/ 2 cc weapons

5 Plague Marines w/ 2 plasma guns

2x 8 Noise marines w/ sonic blasters

2 Obliterators

Defiler w/ 2 extra cc weapons

Vindicator w/ extra armor

The total for this list stands at 1500 even. The one thing I think this list lacks I believe is flexability so in expanding to 1750 I would do this-

- Dreadnaught

+ 1 Greater Deamon

+ 10 Raptors w/ Aspiring Champion. Icon of Slaanesh, Melta Gun, Melta Bombs

with the extra points i would make that up to a unit of 5 termies, maybe a reaper aswell.

and bolster the PM's as much as possible.

both are hard hitting units that have even more staying power.
