Well I've used Dakka for years for tips on modelling projects and Army list ideas, and i figured its high time to jump head first into the community.

I've played Warhammer 40k since late second edition, circa 1998. From there I started WFB, and most all of the Specialist Games GW has put out. I picked up a few FOW models a few years back and since then I have amassed a sizable Mid-Late War American force.

I'm a bit of a ForgeWorld Junkie and have contributed waaaay too much to their bottom line over the last few years.

Currently I am working on my Tallarn Imperial Guard army, just painting legions of troopers (about 200 of 400 painted right now). I have a sizeable Armoured Detachment that goes with them, numbering about 40 tanks.

I also play Marines, Blood Guard, my own homebrew chapter, and they are sitting at 4 and half companies strength right now, but are on the back burner, as are my Orks.

Fantasy I play Dwarfs (8-10k), Gobbos (3-4k), Kislevites (5-6k) and Dogs of War (2-3k).

So yes, I love my hobby, and can never seem to stop collecting, converting, painting and gaming. I am hoping Dakka will be a continued source of help and inspiration, wherever my projects lead

Cheers,

JO

Hey JO, you have an impressive list of armies, models, and factions. Nice to see somebody like you around here.

Isn't that the truth! The only thing I can afford now is the occasional cheap pack of cigarettes and the really cheap whiskey... ugh. Why do I play 40k!? Haha.

I actually have a full body tattoo, but it's of an invisibility cloak, so you can't see it.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.
