I was thinking of using Wazdakka with a biker unit but according to the rules he could never join a squadron of bikes--even though he is on a bike. I haven't found anything in the FAQ or Codex that contradicts the rules. So wazdakka is quite limited as a leader therefore: he either drives around solo with a sign that says "shoot me shoot me!" or he joins a slow moving infantry unit. Has anyone found anything that would allow him to join a bike unit?

Bikes are not vehicles, they're just another unit type alongside infantry and jump infantry. Vehicles are the things with Armour Value.

he can, a bike isnt a vehicle as such as it has no AV.
a bike is pretty much part of a models wargear as it just provides the model with stats.

Yeah, bikes haven't been vehicles since 2nd edition.
