Just curious as to how others paint death co terminators, it seems like in the codex they're not painted straight bleached bone but more of a yellowish white. Any tips?

Are you talking about Death Guard terminators? Because if so, there isn´t really a set way to do it.

Most people however, go for a sickly green, with a lot of aging and filth all over the place.

If it´s Deathwing Terminators you mean, there´s a rather good tutorial here:

It´s a good idea to be a bit more specific, it makes it easier for others to help you.

I think he means death company as in Blood Angels Death Company. They generally paint thier armor black with minimal red accents, and skull motifs.

He probably means Deathwing. Hence the Terminators. And the bone white.

That guide is good. I like to prime black and then base coat brown and work up from there.

It´s all good, glad to be able to help. The terminology can be difficult at times, there´s all kinds of death this and that...

Deathwing
Death Company
Death Guard
Death Korps
And probably at least 2-3 more...

Hmmm a squad of terminators painted in Death Company scheme would look pretty bad ass though...

Mayhaps a test figure this afternoon...

I use an off white color scheme for my Protectorate army.

It's a base of P3 Menoth White, Menoth White highlight and a wash of GW Sepia. Works wonders, and you can vary the wash to make it darker or lighter.

Yeah its true that many names sound the same and confuse you

For the Deathwing though
1. Prime White
2. Basecoat Graveyard Earth and then wash with brown ink
3. Paint raised parts with a mix of Graveyard Earth and Bleached Bone
4. Highlight whit straight Bleached Bone
5. Then a final highlight with a mix of Bleached Bone and Skull White

I hope it helps mate!
