Ok, so plan is enough tricked out basic infantry to get by and lots of swarmishness from daemons and termicides. Hopefully my 25 lesser daemons will bog down opposing units like crazy or add extra bodies as a boost in an assault or vs a swarm.
Chaos Lord - 175
Nurgle, Daemon Weapon, Jump Pack, Personal Icon
Chaos Termis (3) - 105
3 Combi-meltas
Chaos Termis (3) - 105
3 Combi-meltas
Marines (10) - 235
Nurgle, Lascannon, Champ w/Meltabombs
Marines (10) - 240
Khorne, Lascannon, Champ w/Powerfist
Berzerkers (10) - 255
Champ w/Powerfist, Icon
Rhino - 50
Havoc Launcher
Berzerkers (10) - 255
Champ w/Powerfist, Icon
Rhino - 50
Havoc Launcher
Plague Marines (8) - 239
2 Plasma guns, Champ w/Meltabombs, Icon
Obliterators (2) - 150
Obliterator - 75
Land Raider - 240
Daemonic Possession (Will cart whatever squad seems appropriate, or possibly safely transport the HQ)
Lesser Daemons (25) - 325
I'm worried about my anti-tank even though every squad has a tank solution and I have two termicides. That's 73 small infantry which seems high for a CSM army. How should I divide my daemons? 5 of 5? 2 of 10, 1 of 5? Thanks in advance.

from the top:
lords are bad. they cost the same and dont hit as hard as demon princes. your lord will also be unable to take advantage of his speed because if he leaves one of your floot-slogging units he will be shot to peices.
if you are planning to DS your terminators they should have a heavy flamer. id also give them at least one powerfist each, so they can kill big things.
CSM arent as good as cult marines by any stretch, but if you must take them:
both your squads have counter intuitive equipment. you cannot use a lascannon and move. this means that there is no point putting one in a squad that needs to move. your fist squad should either have a lascannon or a champion. if they have a LC then you dont want them getting in combat, so the champion is useless. the same applies to your second squad. there is no point having a lascannon in a unit with IoK, because you cant use them both togther. give them meltas instead.
your berzerkers are ok, but rhinos should never ever have havoc launchers. either they will have moved over 6", and so wont be able to fire, or they will be dead. extra armour is a better upgrade.
your plague marines champion should have a powerfist.
in most cases your infantry dont need melta bombs because they have frak grenades.
you need far more oblits. at 2500pts i bring 9. 6 is probably the minium you can get away with.
lesser demons are awful. they have no guns, cant survive any shooting and anything that is helf decent in combat will kill them all with the way fearless works now. they are a massive points sink they wont help you win games. scrap them and take move oblits or something

taking up the mission
Polonius wrote:Well, seeing as I literally will die if I ever lose a game of 40k, I find your approach almost heretical. If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live? |

Max unit size on lesser daemons is 20.
Usually I would agree 100% with Regwon's comments. But for 'ard Boys specifically, I'll disagree with two of his points:
-A chaos lord is a good choice for 'ard Boys, but take off the jump pack and hide him in one of the troop units. In certain scenarios the opponent will be gunning for him, and a lot of kill points are riding on keeping him alive and battle points having him in particular spots during the course of the game. So hiding him with a unit will keep him alive longer than flying around in the open.
-Lesser daemons allow you to take more, cheaper troops for swarming/camping objectives. Who cares if they kill anything, as long as one stays alive to claim the objective that your terminators have cleared off.

Lord is not bad, when he hide in squads. In such point range, prince would be easily picked out by your opponents, and die.
Never think about CSM squad with MoN.When there is a unit in the codex, called plague marine ...

Never take Jump Pack, always take Wings. Wings don't make you Jump Infantry so you can still ride in Rhinos/Land Raiders.
