So, I placed 83rd at the LVGT. A bad showing for my drop guard and me, but I did get a spiffy door prize, the new marine codex. After looking over it I've notcied something concerning. Servitors do not include a rule that states "...does not count against your elite allowance." It's in a side-bar simillar to the Honor Guard or Command squad, but try as I might I can't find a phrase saying that servitors are outside the Force Org. For those that have the book relavent pages are 138 and 72.

I'm asking
1) If you have the book and have seen contrary where is this rule listed?
2) Do you think this is an oversight or did they mean for Servitors to be their own slot?

what are you talking about? You cannot pick servitors alone. They come with the enginseer.

"Do NOT ask me if you can fire the squad you forgot to shoot once we are in the assault phase, EVER!!!"

The entry says that you can include one unit of Servitors for every Techmarine or MotF. Unlike Honor Guard, Servitors says nothing about not taking up a FOC slot, and unlike every other unit in a grey box, it makes no mention of having to be attached to any other unit. The way i read it, it takes up an Elite slot.

He's talking about a unit entry in the NEW Space Marine Codex, in case that helps...

This observation is correct.

In one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 6", kill a few guys with his flamer, assault 6", kill two more guys with his bayonet, flee 12", regroup when assaulted, react 6", kill one more guy with his bayonet and then flee another 12".
So in one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 42" and kill more than 5 people. At the same time a Chimera at top speed on a road can move 18"...
