In Episode 15 the D6G crew dives into Battlestar Galactica. First we interview Corey Konieczka, the game's designer. Corey gives us insight into what it's like to work at Fantasy Flight games as well as details on some of his other projects such as Tide of Iron and Starcraft the board game. [We're happy to report there are no audio issues with this interview - Ed.]

Later we do an in depth review of the Battlestar Galatica board game to give you insight into the mechanics of this co-op game.

All that and our usual 'not too horrible' humor, with features such as:

- When Wives Attack
- Rapid Fire
- The Hollywood Minute
- Contests
- & More

Please let us know what you think!

LOL Good man, Hollywood. I would kill for a pizza right now and it's two hours until lunch :(

BSG sounds fantastic - I've been looking forward to it because it's my and my fiancees favourite show, so that's a big plus for getting her to play. Plus I really like co-op games, especially with the missus as then my matrix gaming ways can be good as opposed to me having to repress them

You're doing a really great job of getting interesting guests by the way. It's very impressive, and very cool. Any chance of Kevin Wilson? He's somebody I'd be very interested in hearing talk, and you have your man inside FFG already

Excellent episode! I had smile stuck on my face through the whole thing.

The interview and When wives attack were particularly interesting!

Again I find myself thanking you for doing yet another great episode!

Fantastic, another 3 hour+ episode.

Haven't listened yet, I have a trip to Greece for my honeymoon in two weeks so I'm saving all my podcasts for then.

Slightly OT but I did listen to Podhammers Gallantcast. It was great to see Craig on my other favorite podcast.

It never ceases to amaze me how much I love these "marathon" episodes.

It also gives me nightmares thinking about editing on those monsters!

Cant wait for Battlestar Galactica and loved the interview and the review.

Keep up the amazing work.

Drago Drago Drago...

Exquisite!

And WWA was yet another classic. I loved the segway from the boys saying "Yeah its a great gateway game" to the girls saying "This is NOT a gateway game..."

I laughed so much I think a little bit of wee came out! Or that may be just my age?

Exalt!

Hey guys,

Great episode. Thanks for the BSG review.

Let the undead equine flogging begin:

I'm not giving up trying to get y'all to really try a couple of games of AT-43...not the OD Starter Set rules, but the full deal. I'm sure someone in the area is playing, etc. Anyway, I feel like this game is reaching a great point as far as (finally) having enough material out there to really give players a lot of choices and support. (Yes, they are damn slow at it!) By November the majority of units for the first four factions will have been released, and in December the newest faction comes out, the Cogs. AND there are now Two full campaigns worth of scenarios: Operation Damocles, and Frostbite. AND a tactical, RPG-like ruleset called AT-43 Tactics. You might be interested in knowing that FFG, who also distributes AT-43 and Confrontation in the US and UK, have licensed its game system for their very own pre-painted minis game called Dust Tactics.

I found a great resource that compares the rules of at-43 to 40K. Here's hoping you take a look, or pass it on to other interested parties: http://at-43.understairs.nl/rest/at-43for40kplayers.html

Also, if you have not seen AT-43 The online comic, it should be interesting to all wargamers: http://www.at43comic.com/

Cogs pdf (http://www.rackham.fr/newsletter/cry_online/img104/CHO_104_US.pdf)

Oh, thanks for my shout-out in ep. 14.

BSG: Battlestar's Release date is "October 2008" so this coming month it should be showing up.

AT-43: We do need to take a closer look at that game. Although, to be honest, the imagery of Dust Tactics (which I've been following since the last GAMA) looks more appealing. I've got a friend who has a crap load of points of AT-43 and keeps inviting me to come play. I really must find the time.

I know you are a busy guy, but I hope you can find the time. Thanks! I am also looking forward to Dust Tactics.

Which probably means Essen, which means that it will take a little longer for it to be readily available.

Or maybe I'm just becoming a cynical board gamer who's seen to many release dates go past, and pushed back month after month after month after month.....

Anyways, loved the review and the interview, and yes, that is another game on my wish list.

Craig: "Did'ja ever notice" this episode struck a chord. I've dug through a few boxes of my childhood in my parents place once before, and it had a strikingly similar effect. Definitely caused me to pause. Kudos
