A few of these have cropped up, and the biggest failing has always been the head. You can get the body to look almost exactly like the Forge World one, but if you make the head at the scale of the dummy's head, it looks like an Eldar Titan Bobblehead.

Yep. My plan is to buy war walker crew from a bitz supplier and bubble canopies from a model aircraft shop. Build a cockpit roughly the same shape of a scaled down Phantom head.
Got the mannequins, got the crew bitz, got a source on the canopies. Getting down to actually doing it is the main sticking point.

i didnt come up with the maniken idea. im not sure the size in inches of the phantom but i saw a 16'' at the craft store

Yes again, 16" mannequins and 20" mannequins are available (also a wraithlord sized 8"). I would go for 16", it doesn't sound much but the extra 33% scale up is similar to a man vs child comparison. You can make the Phantom bigger by making the wings taller and bulkier, for a start it has two to a Revenants one.
