Another pretty simple conversion - got the idea off of the GWUK website.

That looks really good, how did you make it and what is it made of?

It's pretty simple, really. A sorcerer model, two screamers, the disc from the Tzeentch Lord (hordes of Chaos), and some jewelery chain and jump rings from the local hobby/craft store. The chain and jump rings were about $5, total, with bunches left over. Oh yeah, and a chariot base - those things are ridiculously expensive on ebay (and I don't have the time or tools to cut one out of wood. Plasticard is just too thin, brecause I'll need the base to hold.

Drilled holes in the backs of the wings on the screamers and in three of the spikes on the disc, then opened the jump rings and threaded them into the holes. Slipped chain into each jump ring, closed the ring, and then adjusted the chain so that the lengths were correct. Once I was satisfied with that, I mounted the three parts on flying stands and glued the stands to the base, after drilling some holes.

Right now I'm just trying to figure out some way to make the dang thing easily hold-able for gameplay purposes.

[/serious discussion]
you should model the sorceror to have a large, handle-shaped hat lol
[serious discussion]

Excellent conversion, saw this in a WD a few years back, wondered if anyone would attempt it, you have and made it easier too (the WD version required using flying stand bases, the flames from 3 discs and a shed load of GS to make it work)

for base moving, why not model a tree or something onto the base and pin it very securely so you can use it as a handle?

Only change to make is to replace ridiculously easy to break plastic flying stands with some brass/metal rod.

Seen similar before. Great work.

Yeah, I'm thinking that some rod might be immediately necessary - one of the screamers already broke off. :(

Since the new Demon book says that Discs of Tzeentch are bound versions of Screamers, it amuses me to see a bound Screamer being pulled by a pair of unbound Screamers.

It's very cool looking, I dig it.
