Below are the pictures GW took of my Deathwing army from the Las Vegas GT. I'm currently working on expanding it and adding banners to all of the squad leaders and Belial. I'll post some more pics soon.

I finished 2-2-1. However, the victory conditions don't tell the entire story. 5 objectives in the objective games killed me. This army simply doesn't have enough units to spread around. I excelled in kill points missions though; the small unit count means there isn't a lot to give up. I had no problem with units reclaiming their points values in kills. Belial and his unit are unstoppable in CC. In the end, I learned a lot, and I'm sure I'll do better next time.

As far as painting goes, I hadn't planned on writing a complete tutorial, but I'll happily answer any questions. So, as far as how I did the bone armor:

I started with a black undercoat and over painted it entirely with Dheneb Stone. I added decals and insignia at this stage. Then I began highlighting the armor going from Dheneb Stone to khaki to white. When I was happy with the highlighting (I use wet blending and extenders to get a smooth even finish), I began adding battle damage. To do this I marked the armor up with a combination of uneven chips and scrapes in likely areas. I used scorched brown as the base and then edged out one side of the chip/scratch with skull white. After completing the damage, I began applying a series of washes starting with Devlan Mud. This is the trickiest stage as the Devlun Mud tends to leave drying circles if allowed to sit too long. After the Devlan Mud I added washes of Gryphonne Sepia and Ogre Flesh to selected areas.

I use a similar techique for the wraithbone on my eldar.

I go with a black undercoat followed with a Dheneb Stone base coat. I then cover all the Dheneb (leaving out the recesses) with bleached bone.

I then give the area an extreme highlight of skull white.
