Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

This is what I would do. 'Eavy Armour and Bosspoles for the Big Meks. Lose the Meks in the Lootas unless you really want the Mek Tools.

'Eavy Armour and Bosspoles for the Nobz.

Armour Plates and Grot Riggers for the Deff Dreds.

Replace the Zzap gun with two Big Shootas and take Red Paint Job.

To get points I would lose Deff Koptas.

I think the 'Eavy Armour goes a long way on the multi-wound models, especially since they are carrying the expensive Power Klaws.

I love the Killer Kanz. Great bargain for 135, especially with the KFF.

meks dont really need the bosspoles, but eavy armour would work.

the zzap gun is too much use allways had one on wagons.

deffkoptas are the 1 thing i will keep, great flanking unit, and the only thing in my army capable of some serious speed.

i could drop a dread and get the eavy armour.

tempted to drop the wagon alltogether and add another 3 kanz (yes, i love em )
and with leftover points i can make a grot shield.

throwing plates and riggers on kanz isnt much use, they get killed by small arms fire, a unit of marines would gun 1 or 2 down a turn.

I think it would be a little more efficient if:

- You remove the bigbomms. They're overpriced.
- You remove the tankbustas. Not really worth it.
- You remove those meks from the Loota squad. They're not effective with them.
- You give the kans KMBs instead to make up for the lost bustas AT.
- You beef up your boyz squads to 30 each.
- You beef up a kopta squad to 5 and lose the other. With 2-4, if you lose 1, you have to take a morale test (25%).

prophet, im now seriously thinking about the koptas, love em, but like the idea of dropping 1 and making a unit of 5, that way ive got more of an advantage should they have to fight (rather than zooming about shooting anything with a pulse)
so dropping 1 and dropping a single bomb saves me 60 points, 10 more boyz
want to keep one bomb, used it last time on a unit of guard, done a fair ammount of damage, on marines its not soo good, but killed 4 one the less.

ive found that allthough killing my ammount of shots with meks they can make up for it with killing smaller vehicles and termies (and other 2+sv annoying things)
might cut it back though still and see how it goes.

tankbustas are another unit i would like to keep, every game i have used them in they have earned atleast 2-3 times thier points back.
allways usefull for mech armies, and ive found the S10 tankhammers are grea for nids (mainly lictors out of synapse) and i would happily pay 20 points each for more if i could
and, ontop of all that, i just love throwing explosive squigs at tanks, even though they have taken out my own wagon in the past.

If the koptas are your only fast attack run three squads of two.

olympia, i then face 3 big problems.

1: they get trashed in CC (sometimes i cant avoid it)
2: small units = moral check early on.
3: easy kill points.

Fair enough but...
1. they'll get trashed in CC whether its 2 or 5
2. with 2, you lose 1 and make 1 check and your good. with 3 you will make a morale check after from 3 to 2 and from 2 to 1--and if that fails the 1 is gone anyways.
3. I didn't know it was a killpoints game, that makes a difference!

1: 5 gives me more weight of numbers, and against most units capable of catching them i will outnumber them.

2: as with a previous idea, 5 seems to be a much better ammount.

3: sorry, forgot to mention that.

in light of everything thats been said, the only thing i can add would be to drop the zzap gun on the wagon and use a kannon and a big shoota for the same amount of points. None of these weapons get to fire if the killkannon does anyways, and your opponent has one more "weapon destroyed" result he has to get before he can knock off the killkannon.

EDIT: didnt catch that one comment there bout the zzap gun. IMO they've nerfed it too much to be anything but a waste of points. Its too random and unreliable for its points cost.
