Damn terminators for making me want to buy them.
Anyway, pics: Brother Leonard of the Face Punchers chapter!

I'll be drilling out the barrels when I get hold of a new pin vice, but apart from that and basing this is pretty much done for me.

I like the green, looks good.

The grey suffers from the "Uhh, are you done painting him?" syndrome. Just sorta looks half done.

Face Punchers chapter!

Looks good so far, nice crisp brush control. I know you said you were done - but a light wash on the bleached bone and grey sections would do wonders, and be fast and easy.

LOVE THE CHAPTER NAME!

Yeah, the grey could use a highlight - guess you never know how your work really looks until you better it! What wash would you recommend?

For the grey, definitely a Badab Black wash. Dirtying up the whole thing will really help break up that Fresh-off-the-sprue look.

Bleached bone, use Gryphonne Sepia. It's a light brown wash and if you want darker, move on to Ogryn Flesh, or even darker is Devlan Mud.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, get the new GW Washes. You'll LOVE them.

San Diego.

At first I thought the Green bits was green stuff and the gray was just plastic. Weird, I got so used to seeing models in that state and a paint job like this really threw me.

Well, after a quick highlight the grey definately looks better. I'll pick up a couple of washes when I go and get my pin vice. As an aside, what would you use for tau in the default vomit brown/scorched brown colour scheme?

The scheme camouflages un-painted models in tourneys haha. But seriously nice color mix, with a black wash these guys would really look great. Also I noticed you left the joint gaps (accordion looking things) gray, maybe painting them black would help break up the solid chunk of gray area that is the upper legs and torso.

Hmm, that probably would look better. Thanks for the advice.

I'll be going to the shop tomorrow morning, so hopefully should have some more pictures within 24 hours.

Much better. Never been to fond of writing on bases, but it looks overall cool.

Well there are the "Imperial Smilies" on the b&c. But I rather like them. They look pretty nice.

NICE! That wash really sold the model, the first pictures did feel unfinished but now it looks great. Also I agree great chapter name.

Agreed, with a minor modification to spelling.

I can barely assess the paint job due to my laughing at the Chapter name. The scheme is unique and well executed, I look forward to seeing more.

Edit: I love the banner, but is there any way that you can work in a face that is being punched? Not that I have any great suggestions on how to do it, but it could possibly increase the coolness of an already very cool chapter.

I did consider it, but I can't see a way of making it work on a banner - not much room, and it'd have to be rather detailed to look any good that small - something I don't yet trust myself to do. If I add any vehicles to the chapter, I'll definately have a go at doing some larger artwork!

I'll continue to update this thread with further models as and when I get them done - thank you all for your kind words!

Also, I'm going to edit most of the pictures into links to speed things up.
