You could... for infantry, just get the FoW bases and mount 2 or 3 figs to it. The ranges will seem a bit short in comparison to 1/72 models though. Other option would be to upscale everything... maybe by a factor of .5. So the 4' x 6' standard table would needa 6' x 9' playing area...
